All of the endangered primates suffer habitat loss, but somehow the situation of the Javan Loris strikes me the most. I usually don’t paint negative messages, rather hope, but this warning image gives me the opportunity to work on tree bark texture which I always like doing, and also the eye expression of the shy animal. Every now and then, I use white backgrounds as empty space to make the endangered subject even clumsier and vulnerable, making the habitat loss message even stronger.
