In this piece, I wanted to capture that warm muted light of a sundown in Africa. Sundown, albeit an aesthetically beautiful time of day, is the transition time when predators wake up and go into the offensive mode, and prey animals go into the ever vigilant defensive mode. In Sundowner II, this vigilant Impala buck may be the “look out” ready to first sound a warning cry.
