Every year demoiselle cranes arrive by the thousands to the village of Kichan, in Western Rajasthan, where they spend the winter. In ancient times, they were numerous all over India. Today, thanks to the protection of the inhabitants and the vision of the local authorities, their amazing dances and their voices fill with joy the hearts of man.
