One of my favorite birds to paint is the Wood Stork. They have a very ugly face, one, only a mother could love. I love these birds. I love to paint white and black birds because you can get so many colors in the feathers from the reflected light and the surrounding vegetation. This Wood Stork was happy to pose for me on the twin peaks.
