The Rufus Fantail is a lovely small bird of Australia, Indonesia, New Guinea and other pacific islands. The Rufus Fantail inhabit rainforests and other wet forests. it feeds in the lower parts of the canopy or in undergrowth. It makes short, frequent flights and hops between leaves, branches and the ground during foraging. Its long tail forms a fan shape in display or aerial foraging.
