Each year our planet is losing a variety of species. This painting has in it, visible but not very clear, king penguins in the background. It takes a bit to see but they are there. Calling the painting "Vanishing 4" one wonders, four what? The answer is a series of paintings over the last four years, which included a number of marine pieces depicting what is happening to our world and trying to get the public aware of the conditions we are starting to encounter. Not many people seem to care much about our dwindling wildlife.
