Here in our southeastern part of Florida, spoonbills are common and a very popular bird. Their larger size and bright pink markings make for an attractive sighting and can be quite attractive for golfers since they are used to the players not bothering them. Normally I prefer using sunlight to help make forms easier to see but here I tried to put the birds in a cloudy grey day and I used different wing positions in an attempt to give the feeling of motion.
