'Fury' is a depiction of a large bull elephant in musth, a period of heightened sexual activity and aggression. Males begin to come into musth in their late 20s, but their musth periods are short and unpredictable. It's not until they are nearly 40 that bulls have regular musth periods that last three to four months. These older bulls, between 35 and 60, are the ones desired by females and are the most successful breeders.
