These cute little wrens are attempting to settle into a space that isn't big enough for two. They will nest in natural cavities or build dome-shaped nests in deciduous and evergreen forests. Foraging for insects they will also eat juniper or other berries when the weather starts to turn colder. To persuade these little cuties to nest in your backyard, landscape heavily with native plants to provide adequate cover. In return you will get to hear their melodious song which has ten times the sound power of a crowing rooster.
