We live in the front range of Colorado, close to the shadows of Rocky Mountain National Park where many species of animals thrive in sometimes harsh conditions. The Cottontails that grace our land must outrun and outsmart foxes, mountain lions, and eagles, among other predators. Because of that, I have great admiration for them. I decided to pose this cottontail in a relaxed, inquisitive moment among clover, one of their favorite plants.
