Wall color:
The mountain gorilla (Gorilla gorilla berengi) is a critically endangered species found in the mountainous regions of Rwanda, Uganda, and Zaire. They live in groups that vary in size, including males, females, and young, and are led by a dominant silverback male. They travel throughout their territory and spend at least thirty percent of their time eating leaves, shoots, stems, and only consume small amounts of fruit. As a species, they are a magnificent animal to paint and draw, and I thoroughly enjoyed working on this silverback relaxing within his mountain domain.
