The reflection of the mountains on the lake was spectacular the morning we arrived at Moraine Lake. The mountains and glaciers were a perfect mirror. Parks Canada is doing its best to protect the fragile ecosystem around the lake by implementing a ban on personal vehicles being driven up to the lake. This will reduce the number of visitors and impact on the environment and wildlife.
