Wall color:
From a misty meadow in the Whistler alpine, a young Grizzly Bear quietly watches the trail below. Hikers and mountain bikers may soon pass, but for this moment the landscape belongs entirely to him. I have travelled this trail many times without seeing a grizzly, though their presence is always felt. That quiet awareness is a reminder that I am only a visitor in their home and should move through it with respect. This painting expresses my gratitude for the privilege of sharing wild places with the animals that truly belong there.
