Wall color:
The Sacred Kingfisher (Todiramphus sanctus) ranges across Australia, New Zealand, and many Pacific islands, where it has long been respected in Polynesian culture for its association with the sea. This medium-sized tree kingfisher inhabits mangroves, forests, woodlands, wetlands, river valleys, and even gardens throughout Australia. Through this painting, I wanted to celebrate both the beauty of this familiar species and its enduring connection to the landscapes and cultures of the Pacific.
