We live about an hour from the Colorado/Wyoming border and frequently share the same windy weather patterns. I have long been inspired by numerous sightings of Pronghorn antelope that can be seen running through sage in the open prairies. They are the fastest hoofed animal in North America capable of reaching speeds up to 60 mph. Generally, they are able to outrun all their predators, the exception to that being vulnerable individuals and fawns who fall prey to coyotes. Choosing to include both a male and a female seemed to tell their story better.
