Sunshine, fall birch leaves, and blue jays together make for a beautiful day. A Blue Jay Day describes that happy bright day and that is what this painting shares as well. My paintings create a feeling of peace and kinship with the wonderful living creatures of our world. Humans and animals are simply two pieces of a much larger whole. We are earth-mates and share the earth with a multitude of animals. My artwork is a way to express and share appreciation while highlighting this connection that exists between us.
