This is my first attempt at portraying a reptile on scratchboard, a medium that lends itself to fur and feathers, proved to be a challenge. I added the Plovers for a splash of colour and scale as they are a constant companion of the crocodile. These huge primitive reptiles can grow to over a ton and measure over 5 meters when fully grown.
