I became interested in making a scratchboard of this beautiful cat after learning that there are a few Jaguars living in the mountains near our winter home in southern Arizona. My goal was to convey the power and beauty of this magnificent animal in his natural habitat. Jaguars are third in size behind the tiger and lion and have the strongest bite force of all the big cats.
