The Ring-tailed Lemur is found in southern Madagascar in the spiny forest and high lands. The babies start on the mother's stomach and at 1 to 2 weeks migrate to the mother's back. Ring-tailed lemurs are commonly found in zoos but in their native environment are endangered due to deforestation and pet trade.
