Wall color:
Our Southern Boobook owls are one of the smallest in Australia and not endangered except from barbed wire fences, cats, encroachment on habitat, poisons for rodents, and their usual predators. As a rescuer, we receive reports and usually it is a fractured wing or leg, rendering it impossible to fly. Finding tree hollows in which to nest, they quietly go about their business, their soft "boo book, boo book" calling through the still night. Representative of wisdom, learning, transition and change, and spiritual growth. We strive for these things. What shines most brightly, if one truly sees, is the light within.
