While on a trip to Tasmania a couple of years ago, I was fortunate to capture his scene. Pink Robins are quieter than most Robins, and are found in southeastern Australia, including Tasmania. Their natural habitats are cool, temperate forests. My intention was to paint every tiny detail of the Pink Robin as well as all the different lichen and mosses that I found in Tassie. The cool climate at Cradle Mountain is the perfect environment for the most amazing moss and lichen growth on nearly every branch on the bushland.
