At daybreak, before spring has truly set in, the sun rises slowly, bathing the sky, the trees and the water seeping in between the ice that is still floating on the lake, in a warm light. This place is dear to me and the sunrise fills me with hope and love for this magnificent nature that spreads out before me. This work is painted in oil on canvas and is presented with a floating frame.
