'Legends of Amboseli' depicts two large bull elephants from the Amboseli ecosystem in southern Kenya. For many years these bulls, named Craig and Tim, have been favorites with tourists. From a distance, they were often mistaken for one another due to their tall stature and huge asymmetrical tusks. Due to the popularity of Amboseli National Park, with many tourists, park rangers and the presence of the Maasai, who are intolerant of intruders, the elephants here have not been subjected to the same levels of poaching as other areas. Because of this, it is one of the last places to see old bull elephants with large tusks. Some, like these two, even attaining a level of celebrity status.
