Tlou: Tswana meaning elephant, with direct translation as "The Powerful One" and "The unstoppable One." A beautiful elephant tusker from Botswana. Whilst drawing Tlou, I remembered seeing elephants, eye to eye, feeling insignificant, yet felling infinite connection with this superior sentinel of earth. The feeling stays long, but there is a knowing that stays with you forever. I fell in love with elephants as a child and through my artwork my passion is to keep elephants roaming free in Botswana and my home country Zimbabwe. I am currently supporting and fundraising solutions for the co-existence of humanity and elephants in Botswana.
