Wood Ducks are one of my favorite waterfowls. Each spring, I set up my blind in the early morning and watch them as they gradually pair off. Often two males are interested in the same female as the ones on this log. I am fortunate enough to have some nest boxes set up on my property and one day I hope to see the young climb to the cavity entrance and jump to the ground!
