The subject of this sculpture serves as a symbol of resilience, paying homage to its captivating features and to the vital significance of wetland conservation. Wetlands are sanctuaries teeming with biodiversity and integral ecosystems crucial to our planet's health. In this decorative decoy, I returned to my roots as a wildfowl sculptor. I have always wanted to capture the understated elegance of a Green-winged Teal hen with its delicate beauty, soft plumage and contours, and the distinct iridescent flash of green in its secondary feathers.
