Wall color:
The Canada Lynx is such a secretive, solitary animal that it is seldom seen, a gray ghost adrift in northern forests. I've only observed them in the wild on a handful of occasions, all somewhat brief and completely unexpected. However, I've been fortunate in having access to living animals in captivity, and these have allowed leisurely examination and study. In 'Sitting Pretty' I have attempted to recreate a particular experience in Algonquin Park, although in mid spring the animal was still in prime winter fur, exhibiting all the characteristics that make them so dynamic.
