'Up in Flames' is a vivid depiction illuminating the struggle that nature is facing today. As wildfires rage throughout the world and indiscriminate logging depletes the carbon watershed, it is a reminder of how we are affecting the planet. The Owl is symbolic of a 'canary in the coal mine' scenario and contemplates the destruction of his homeland.
