Wall color:
This drawing of a young chimpanzee depicts Kyungu, who is one of many chimps that has been rescued from poachers and who is being rehabilitated at the Lwiro Primate Rehabilitation Centre in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Young chimps are often kept in order to be sold as pets after their parents are killed for bushmeat, and that is what happened to Kyungu. The people at Lwiro say her favourite food is grapes and that she can eat and eat them, (look at that adorable belly!), leading to her nickname of 'Grape Girl'! Limited edition prints of this drawing were sold, with profits being donated to Lwiro Primates.
