I had this title in mind before I started this piece. It evolved and evolved. A thoroughly enjoyable painting to do mixing a lot of colours that aren’t normally on my palette. After deliberating for days where the birds should be placed in the composition, and once I’d painted them in, I then had a lot of fun bringing it all together. There was nearly as much paint splattered over me as there was on the canvas!
