The Masai Giraffe isn't quite as tall and has a more angular frame allowing for a sportier gait than the Reticulated Giraffe. It is not quite as tall, but still in the treetops. Their patches are less organized with the white divisions a bit more splashy and they have a little wider forehead. Giraffes have the same number of vertebrae in those long necks as we do, but they need ball and socket joints in them, to make it work. This Giraffe was also at Amboseli with the elephants we all love, but they get plenty of press.
