Climate change is affecting many creatures, great and small. In this case, the American Pika found throughout B.C., is having to adapt to rising temperatures in the alpine environments in which they live. This painting represents that adaptation in process... in this case the Pika is in a rock quarry... a man-made element in what was once a natural environment.
