Geronticus Eremita, the Northern Bald Ibis, belongs to a very social bird species. Their individuals are living and breeding in colonies. Belonging to the category "Endangered", it costs a lot of effort, and money, of course, to rebuild destroyed colonies and to protect them. Nearly vanished in the wild, a lot of zoological gardens do their best to breed this species for rewilding reasons. I only have seen these enigmatic ibises in diverse wildlife sanctuaries.
