My painting is of a Gang-gang Cockatoo. My inspiration for this piece came from the bushland that surrounds my home. These native Australian parrots are frequent visitors to my area. Apart from their distinctive head colouring, they reveal their presence with a screech that sounds more like an old creaking screen door!
