It is my dream to one day visit Madagascar to see ring-tailed lemurs in the wild. We are fortunate to have quite a large group of them at Taronga Zoo in Sydney. The exhibit has a walk-through enclosure and excellent viewpoints for taking reference photos of these beautiful animals. They seem to like cuddling up together in groups which makes for great photos and art pieces. I love using sharp instruments, in this case mostly dental scaling instruments, on the scratchboards to create the fuzzy fur of the lemurs, making it quite life-like.
