This is a playful painting of an Elephant with its trunk held to its forehead. There is a subtle change in light, as one side of the Elephant's face is illuminated with direct sunlight, while the rest of it is bathed in ambient and reflected light. A great deal of attention was given to the rugged skin of this giant beast, while attempting to capture a playful moment.
