The inspiration behind this work comes from the contrast between the very detailed and precise structure of the bird's plumage and the birch bark which is more abstract and non-linear. In this way, I wanted to demonstrate that nature, which sometimes seems chaotic and random, is very structured and has given birth to such perfect living things.
