This is an Alaskan Brown Bear standing in icy water, scanning for movement and waiting for his next opportunity to grab a fish for his supper. I have always wanted to create an image of the iconic 'Grizzly Bear' but wanted an image that was not typical, one that told a story and had movement, one that captured the elements of their habitat and behaviour. For me, this image encapsulates all that. Permission to use this image as a reference, was kindly given by the photographer, Tom Ingram.
