Grevy's Zebra are the largest and most threatened of the three Zebra species in Africa. "Haroo" is part of an American conservation program and he's named after a man who works at the Grevy's Zebra Trust in Nairobi. While some people are critical of programs where animals are not in the wild, I believe that we should celebrate the efforts of people who do whatever they can to preserve species. Perhaps they won't be necessary in the future, but for now where would we be without them? Kaa Salama, Haroo -- Swahili for Be Safe, Haroo.
