Many inshore species of fish are known for orienting to structure - either natural or man-made - for food and security. Bonefish on the other hand seem to be constantly moving, searching for prey and keeping one step ahead of predators like sharks, birds, and man. This painting has been sold at auction by Copley Fine Art Auctions in March 2022 with 50% of the $11,000 hammer price going to benefit Bonefish & Tarpon Trust.
