Have you ever held a Bumble Bee in your hand? Seen the glint of sunlight in their eyes? Felt the subtle tickle on your skin as they climb along your thumb? Watched as they reach out a tiny, hairy black limb towards the sky? Unfurled their exaggerated tongue, Lapped a sugary drink from a crease of your palm? Perhaps if more of us do, we would cherish all of nature’s creatures. Bees are crucially connected to humans for our continued existence. They are among our dwindling populations of vital pollinators - no pollinators, no crops, equals no us. Please, “Bee Aware” of their uncertain future and strive to protect these amazing little creatures.
