The Eastern Gray Squirrel is simply a Tree Squirrel. These little creatures have their place in conservation as the most prodigious, and essential natural forest regenerators. The idea for this painting presented itself one morning when I observed a furry visitor perched on a tree branch admiring the bird feeder below him.
