With great anticipation, I wait for Spring and the arrival of birds in my back yard and nearby woods. The trees are beginning to show their delicate greens and starting to flower white to pink. There is nothing more thrilling than to see a Warbler announcing its arrival. A flowering old apple tree inspired me to create the sculpture “Joyous Greeting Spring 1”. The Northern Parula warbler is found in coniferous or mixed woods, especially near water. By re-creating nature, I hope to make people aware of our beautiful world and that we all should take good care of it.
