Red-fan Parrots are always in high-drama mode, but never more so than when defending nesting areas from rivals. Sadly, their unusual plumage and out-going nature have subjected them to insufferable pressure from wildlife trafficking. That these magnificent parrots could be extirpated in the wild by collectors and organized crime, is intolerable. Donation from proceeds will help maintain the website for Parrot Researchers Group, a 100% voluntary network of researchers, veterinarians, conservationists, and other professionals devoted to study and protection of wild psittacines.
