Wall color:
The Great Migration is a scene I have witnessed twice in Africa and each year zebras and wildebeests must cross crocodile infested waters. These zebras gamble every year, jumping in and swimming across the river, dodging the monstrous crocodiles and risking a terrible death. Ink is my prefect medium for capturing the contrast of the black and white striped zebras and the horizontal ripples of churning water. Zebras and Wildebeests survive these dangerous river crossings due to sheer numbers. The crocodiles cannot eat them all. My ink piece captures a triumphant moment of high drama as my zebras crash through the water to the other side, safe from the trailing crocodiles.
