These beautiful Macaws are a couple. Macaws mate for life. I was struck with the affection and gentleness of these birds.
There are places in the world where they are almost extinct and places where they flourish. This is alarming from a conservation perspective. We need to bring attention to protect all animals even when they are seemingly safe.
