This portrait was inspired by visits to Katmai National Monument in Alaska. Brown bears roamed freely and captured salmon at Brooks Falls. Amazing to see and experience. Done in a ‘formal style’, this painting honors the brown bear and encourages the respect they deserve. We need to better appreciate how intertwined Nature is. Our survival depends on it.
