The Bruce Peninsula lies between Lake Huron and Georgian Bay. The Niagara Escarpment, a huge forested limestone ridge runs along the eastern shore of the Bruce Peninsula down into southern Ontario, Canada. It runs from the Niagara River to the tip of Tobermory and is more than 890 km long. The trail passes through forests and caves and offers hikers spectacular views overlooking Georgian Bay’s clear waters. This particular location is called "Halfway Log Dump" which is located south of Cyprus Provincial Park near Tobermory.
