I drew two white wolves facing each other and howling together under the same moon. The wood that I used for the frame is Jindai elm. It was unearthed after being buried under ashes for several hundreds of years due to volcanic eruptions. The wood makes you feel the dignity of something that woke up from having been asleep since ancient times. A portion of the trunk of this sacred tree has been split into two halves, and they present a prayer chorus of the proud wolves that live in an intensely cold world that is severe and beautiful.
