My last two trips to Africa have been to Kenya, where I have really enjoyed observing the rare Grevy's zebras that only live in northern Kenya. When they gather together, their amazing stripe pattern creates a wonderful optical tangle when they move. I'm not sure there is a more complicated subject for scratchboard; it's quite a challenge to keep all those stripes straight on my board!
